Intern Seminars - January-February 2017
Interns only, please! These weekly seminars will feature eight weeks of relevant music therapy topics for interns. This FREE seminar series is reserved for interns. Meet with us every Thursday evening from 7pm (Central Time) to 8pm. This series is NOT recorded. Live participants will receive a copy of the presentation. Topics include:
Jan 5 - The Rights and Responsibilities of the Music Therapy Intern
Join us on February 20, 2017 at 7pm Central Standard Time for a discussion about writing your personal philosophy of music therapy. Participants will go through a series of exercises designed to challenge critical thought about why music therapists do what they do to assist in forming the foundation of this important personal statement.
This webinar will be offered for free on the night indicated above. The webinar will also be recorded and available for watching after February 20th for a fee of $10.00 USD.
Short courses to enhance and refine your professional skills and procedures.
These 1 hour courses focus on the day-to-day tasks that music therapists do as part of their professional role. Each course offers participants with clinical examples, research resources, and tasks designed to provide a foundation for each of the skills.

What are the requirements to join a meeting on AnyMeeting?
A Wired (Not Wireless) Broadband Internet Connection (Access Points, Mobile Air connections not recommended)
A PC Computer using Windows or Mac Operating System (Android or iPad Tablets also supported to Attend)
A microphone and speakers or headset with mic for VOIP audio
A Landline for Conference Call (Cell phones not recommended)
The platform itself is very easy to use. You access the meeting through clicking a link sent to you in an email. Once you click, you are in! Please note that there are times when connection speeds are not able to support the information being streamed.
